So, the team at Good Company have put together this quick and easy recipe to ramp up the fibre in your diet, and it all starts with our delicious, drinkable Kefir. 

“I consume this like a gut potion daily, it helps that it is super tasty with strawberries, blueberries, honey and chia seeds, I add almonds as a topping in good measure. My top tip is to add a splash of coconut water if I am feeling dehydrated.”

Recipe instructions

Ingredients

Smoothie:

1 cup of Good Company  Kefir
1/2 cup of fresh strawberries1/2 cup of fresh blueberries
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
Sliced almonds (optional, for topping)

Method

Step 1

Begin by adding 1 cup of Kefir to a blender. Add a few ice cubes if you want your smoothie extra icy. 

Step 2

Toss in 1/2 cup of fresh strawberries and 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries.

Step 3

Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of honey for natural sweetness, and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of chia seeds for added fibre and omega-3s.

Step 5

Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Step 6

If desired, top your gut-loving smoothie with sliced almonds for extra crunch and a dose of healthy fats.
